A Biz Girl Turned Jesus Girl

For 17 years, I built brands, coached businesses, and pivoted industries with confidence. I knew how to create strategies, frameworks, and plans that worked. But when God called me to pivot into a faith-based brand, I was shook.

At first, it felt uncomfortable. I didn’t know how to show up authentically in this space, let alone lead others in their faith. I wanted to represent Him well while staying true to myself—and honestly, I had no idea how to make it all come together.

So, I did what I knew to do: I prayed.

I asked God, “What do YOU want from me in this space? How do I honor You with my work?” And in His perfect timing, He answered by revealing a framework—a way to align my life with His will and help others do the same.

It’s the 4Ws.

Just like I’ve built frameworks for branding, coaching, and marketing, God showed me how to structure a framework for faith—a guide to help believers pivot out of the middle and fully align with Him. This wasn’t about reinventing the wheel; it was about repurposing the skills He’d already given me for His glory.

Here’s how the 4Ws break down:

Your Ways

This is about replacing old habits with Christ-centered practices. It’s letting go of what no longer serves your faith and embracing disciplines that reflect a life led by God’s Word. It’s about making choices that align with Him, not the world.

Your Why

Realign your motives with God’s purpose. Why do you do what you do? Are your goals rooted in His will, or are they shaped by worldly expectations? This step is about checking your intentions and making sure they’re in sync with God’s plans for your life.

Your Walk

Live in obedience and reflect Christ daily. Your walk isn’t just about what you say; it’s about what you do. It’s about bearing fruit, staying consistent in your faith, and allowing God’s light to shine through you in every step you take.

Your Works

Use your gifts to glorify God and build His Kingdom. Every talent, skill, and opportunity you have is a gift from Him. This step is about recognizing those gifts and using them intentionally—not for your own gain, but to make an impact for His glory.

When I look back, I realize that all those years of branding and business weren’t just about building success—they were about building skills. God had been preparing me for this faith-fueled pivot all along.

So, here’s my challenge to you: Where do you need to pivot? What old habits or mindsets need to shift so you can fully step into the life God is calling you to?

The journey isn’t always easy, but I promise—it’s worth it. Let’s do this together.

Reflection Question:

What’s one way you can align your ways, your why, your walk, or your works with God this week? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear how you’re making your own faith-fueled pivot.
